This is a list of fictional or legendary members of the Family Cervidae, which includes deer, moose, and reindeer.
Deer
This section includes such creatures as deer (buck, doe, or fawn), stag, elk, hart, hind, roe, sika.
- Amber the Doe, sexually-anthropomorphized animated female star of "Naturally Juicy", a controversial 2007 Orangina commercial (as aired and "making of")
- Bambo, the first-person protagonist of the Deer Avenger series of videogames.
- Bambi, in the book Bambi, A Life in the Woods and in the Disney film adaptation Bambi (and related works)
- Fawn Deer, romantic interest to title character of Bonkers, a 1993-1995 "The Disney Afternoon" television series
- The Ceryneian Hind, captured as one of the twelve Labours of Hercules
- Chidejika, the cartoon mascot of Japan's National Association of Commercial Broadcasters.[1]
- Elliot one of two lead characters in Sony's 2006 animated film Open Season and related works
- Elmo the Elk, an elk in the animated Canadian series Eek! the Cat
- Faline, Bambi's childhood friend and eventual mate (from several Bambi works)
- Flag, a fawn in The Yearling by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings
- Mime in Happy Tree Friends
- "Poor little furry thing", an otherwise unnamed pivotal character from film Tommy Boy (scene here).
- The White Stag, the mythic title character from Kate Seredy's eponymous 1938 book.
- Lightfoot, from Lightfoot the Deer by Thornton Burgess
- Moki, literally "dearly departed one" in Hopi and depicted in petroglyphs with three legs. Some Tribe Moki legends name the ceremonial deer who saves the human twins Tawahongva and Tawiayisnima.[2]

- Walter, a non-anthropomorphized wild deer befriended by Arthur's younger sister D.W. during season 2 of the television series Arthur. The character recurs in D.W.'s imagination and dreams.
- Donald Deer, a student deer in Cartoon Network Studios' My Gym Partner's a Monkey
- Monarch of the Glen, a red deer stag (called elk by North Americans) featured in a BBC comedy series of the same name, set in Scotland.
- Yakul, from Princess Mononoke
- Rannoch, a red deer who is the main character in Fire Bringer by David Clement-Davies
- Stag Party mascot, unnamed anthropomorphic stag mascot created by cartoonist Arv Miller, which was hurriedly converted to a rabbit mascot by replacing the head when Hugh Hefner, facing a potential trademark battle, changed the name of his new magazine shortly before its first issue went to press from Stag Party to Playboy. The original Playboy Rabbit's deer hooves were discernible in early editions of the magazine.[1][2]

- Chocolate Moose, a minor recurring character from The Muppet Show
- Chocolate the Moose, the last of 1993's original Ty Beanie Baby toys to be retired. The character is unique in that he was repeated in several lines, such as Beanie Buddy, Teenie Beanies, and even as a licensed sports giveaway (for the Seattle Mariners in 1998). Other Beanie Baby moose characters include "Dominion the Moose", "Moosletoe the Christmas moose", "Villager the Moose", and "Zeus the moose".

Reindeer
- Randolph the Reindeer, a stuffed toy produced by Hallmark.
- Rudolph, a reindeer in the 1939 story 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer', later adapted to a 1949 song, a 1964 television special, and various derivative works
- Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen, in the 1823 poem A Visit from St. Nicholas
- Clarice,[3] female friend to Rudolph in Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and GoodTimes Entertainment's 2001 direct-to-video Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys
- Robbie the Reindeer, lead character of three animated BBC Christmas comedy television specials, filmed in aid of Comic Relief and released between 2001 and 2007. While not canonical to the Rankin/Bass or GoodTimes films, the Robbie character is the son and successor to Rudolph.
- Holly, a childlike reindeer from Disney's 2007 direct-to-video My Friends Tigger & Pooh: Super Sleuth Christmas Movie
- Olive, an ersatz "reindeer" and title character of Olive, the Other Reindeer, who is actually a dog.
- Tony Tony Chopper, a blue nosed, humanlike reindeer doctor from One Piece
- Dimly, a reindeer in The Snow Queen.
Characters from MADtv
Corky Quakenbush created a trilogy of Rudolph parodies for MADtv which do not have an internally-consistent canon. Each is based upon a famous movie

Hybrids outside the family Cervidae
These characters are not simply anthropomorphized, of indeterminate species, or super-powered, but are obviously hybridized with characteristics from outside the family Cervidae.
